Gas Prices
In my first post about gas prices it would cost me $23.70 for a week of gas. It costed me $39 to fill my tank at a price of 3.25. Now that gas prices have dropped the cost to fill my tank at $1.73 was $20.79. For a week at $1.73 it would cost me $12.61. I think there are many reasons for gas prices dropping. One reason is that it was summer time and people are driving around and going on vacations. Now that summer is over the traveling has gone down so the gas consumption has also gone down. Another reason for lower prices is that unemployment is on the rise and with less people driving to work there is less gas being used. I hope gas prices stay like this.

Polynomials
This video on polynomials was very informational. One thing that became clearer to me is what exactly binomials and trinomials are. A binomial is two unlike term and a trinominals is three unlike terms. One thing I learned was it is in no way can two different variables be combinded. That is what I learned.

Hybrid cars vs. fuel efficent cars
This article relates to me because when I graduate I want to get a really fuel efficent car so I can save some money. From this article I learned that hybrid cars get better gas milage but are higher priced and have higher maintence fees. I also learned that fuel efficent cars, like the Toyota Yaris, that aren't hybrids can be better in the long run.

Bedfan
This article relates to me because in the summer I usually turn on my fan or turn up the AC to keep cool. I learned from this article that in these tough economic times there is a really unique and intresting way to save money on your eletricity costs. I would love to see how well these things work. That is my feel on the befan.

Gas For My Hybrid
Gas for a week
350/48 x 3.25= $23.70 for a week (wow that is cheap)
Gas for a month
350/48 x 3.25 x 4 weeks= $94.79
Gas for a year
350/48 x 3.25 x 52 weeks= $1232.29
Gas for 100 years
$1232.40 x 100 years=$123,229.17
I think it was a great idea for me to get a really fuel efficent so I could save a lot of money on gas every time I would fill up. If everyone got a hybrid car we could cut down on pollution and the amount of money we spent on gas.
